A heartbreaking incident took place on the evening of Monday, March 25, resulting in the loss of two young lives. The accident involved a Sur-ron e-bike, a blue Vauxhall Mokka, a red Renault Clio, a black Vauxhall Corsa, and a white VW Golf.

Emergency services swiftly responded, but unfortunately, two boys, aged 16 and 17, who were passengers on the bike, were pronounced dead at the scene. The rider of the bike, a 14-year-old male youth, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin. Although his condition is described as stable, he faces a long road to recovery.

The driver of the Mokka, a 54-year-old man, also suffered serious injuries and was admitted to the same hospital. While his condition is critical, it has stabilized.

Thankfully, no other individuals were harmed in the accident. However, the road had to be temporarily closed to facilitate the investigation by crash experts.

Sergeant Iain Nicolson expressed his condolences, stating, "Our thoughts are very much with the families and friends of the two teenagers who tragically lost their lives. We understand the immense pain they are going through and respectfully ask for their privacy during this difficult time."

The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and law enforcement authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
