Ducati Expands its E-Bike Lineup with the Futa All Road

2024-05-31

Ducati has recently launched the Futa All Road, a new addition to its e-bike collection that focuses on providing comfort and versatility for riders. This e-road bike retains the sporty endurance geometry found in its predecessor, the Futa AS, while incorporating some notable improvements.

Similar to the road version, the motor of the Futa All Road is concealed within the hub, giving it a sleek appearance. The battery is seamlessly integrated into the downtube and features Ducati’s signature style with GP red accents and visible carbon accents. The carbon monocoque frame, known as the DU frame, is designed with aerodynamics and speed in mind. The compact rear triangle with lower chainstays not only enhances riding comfort but also reduces air resistance.

The Futa All Road comes equipped with the FSA System HM 1.0 motor, offering 250 watts of power and a torque of 42nm. The rider can easily access riding statistics, remaining range, and battery charge status using the FSA app, available for iOS and Android. Even at speeds exceeding 25km per hour when the motor’s pedal assistance is no longer required, there is minimal motor resistance and a smooth pedal stroke.

One notable feature of this e-bike is the ability to extend its range. The 250Wh FSA battery integrated into the downtube can be supplemented with an additional 250Wh of battery power using the range extender, allowing riders to cover longer distances.

The Futa All Road is equipped with top-quality components, such as the SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset, hydraulic brakes with 160mm brake discs, a wireless 2×12 electronic shifting system, and Vision AGX30 wheels with carbon rims. To enhance comfort and maneuverability, the bike features FSA K-Wing AGX Carbon handlebars with specially shaped contact points and a 10-degree forward tilt.

To ensure seamless integration and optimal performance, the cable routing is fully integrated into the frame. The Vittoria Terreno Dry tires, with widths of 38mm at the front and 35mm at the rear, offer safety, comfort, and cushioning on various surfaces.

Ducati has also added a bikepacking set to the Futa All Road, consisting of three Skuad bags for the saddle, handlebars, and frame. Made from fully waterproof material, these bags provide ample storage space without compromising maneuverability.

This exciting new release expands Ducati’s range of e-bikes, joining models like the Futa AXS e-road bike, the Powerstage RR e-MTB, the TK-01RR, and the MIG S. The Futa All Road is available in four sizes, ranging from S to XL, with a price tag of €7,690. European customers can expect delivery to begin in June 2024. Ducati enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to see these innovative bikes in person at the Eurobike trade fair in Frankfurt from July 3rd to July 7th, where Ducati will be showcasing their models at Pavilion 12, Stand C20.
