DJI Ventures into the E-Bike Market with Avinox Drivetrain

DJI, the renowned manufacturer known for its drones and camera equipment, has made another surprising move by entering the e-bike market. Introducing their latest innovation, the Avinox drivetrain, DJI aims to compete with well-established e-bike brands like Bosch, Fazua, TQ, and Bafang.

Keeping track of ride data and battery levels is made convenient through a 2-inch OLED interactive display mounted on the top tube of the e-bike. This dust-proof, water-resistant, and antiglare display provides accurate information collected from nearly 50 data points. Control of the display can be done using a handlebar-mounted controller, eliminating the need for a smartphone.

While DJI’s Avinox drivetrain and e-bikes, known as Amflow, are currently only available in the UK, Germany, and Australia, their entry into the e-bike market has generated significant interest.
